Ingredients for Dry Powder
- 6 Tbsp Turmeric Powder or Haldi Powder (organic)
- 6 Tbsp Fennel Seeds or Sauf
- 3 Tbsp Cumin or Zeera
- 3 Tbsp Coriander Seeds or Khada Dhania
- 2 Tbsp Cardamom or Elaichi
- 1Tbsp Ginger powder or Sauth
- 1 ½ Tbsp Black Pepper whole or Kali Mirch
- 6 whole Star Anise (chakr phool) Powdered
Other Ingredients
- Few Mint Leaves (fresh or dry)
- Few Holy Basil (Indian Tulsi Leaves) or Few Basil Leaves
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
Method
- For two minutes, dry roast all the ingredients except turmeric powder, dry ginger powder, and star anise powder.
- Cool the mixture completely.
- Once cooled, grind to make a fine powder and mix turmeric, ginger, and anise powder, and store in an airtight glass container.
- When needed take 1 teaspoon of dry powder in a cup of hot water, add mint, tulsi/basil leaves, and before sipping add lemon juice to it.
